Objective
According to the objectives laid down in the Ordinance, the basic
purpose of the Institute is to train outstanding sportspersons. Yet
adequate emphasis is given on academic upbringing of trainees for their
wholesome development. In view of this the Institute imparts general
education to all its long term trainees. The trainees are admitted
generally in class VII & study up to degree. The college is duly
affiliated with the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education,
Dhaka and with National University at the degree level. The Institute
follows the course curriculum as prescribed by the Board and the
University. In addition, at each level of S.S.C, H.S.C and Degree class,
a compulsory sports subject is exclusively included in the curriculum.
A Principal heads the college section and instructional classes are
conducted by well qualified Asst. Professors, Lecturers and Teachers.
